Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Qubit Logic Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales, operating from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. We design, develop, and publish mobile and web applications across finance, entertainment, and sport categories.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit our website (qubitlogicltd.co.uk or any successor domain), download or use any of our published applications (collectively, “our Apps”), or otherwise interact with our digital services.

By using our website or any of our Apps, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Who We Are (Data Controller)

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is:

Qubit Logic Ltd

Hitchin, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Email: qubitlogicltd@gmail.com

3. Our Applications

This policy covers all applications published by Qubit Logic Ltd, including but not limited to:

Overtaxed: UK Tax   Calculator

Finance

Fully offline. No personal   data collected. Local storage only.

Where an individual app has specific data-handling practices that differ from or supplement this policy, those details will be set out in an app-specific privacy addendum accessible from the app itself and from the relevant app store listing.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Information you provide directly

If you contact us via our website contact form or email, we may collect:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Any information you include in your message

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.

4.2 Information our Apps collect

Our default approach is privacy by design. Unless stated otherwise in an app-specific addendum:

• Our Apps do NOT collect, transmit, store, or share any personal, financial, or identifiable data with us or any third party.

• All user inputs, calculations, and generated content are processed entirely on your device.

• We do not operate external servers that receive your data.

4.3 Local device storage

Our Apps may use your device’s local storage mechanisms (such as Android SharedPreferences, iOS UserDefaults, or equivalent) to save your preferences and input state for convenience. This data:

• Remains on your device at all times

• Is never transmitted to us or any third party

• Can be deleted at any time by you using in-app controls (such as an “Erase All Local Data” button) or by clearing the app’s storage through your device’s system settings

4.4 Website analytics

Our website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as those provided by GoDaddy’s built-in analytics) to understand visitor traffic in aggregate. This may include:

• Pages visited and time spent

• Referring website or search engine

• Approximate geographic region (country or city level)

• Device type, browser, and operating system

This data is collected in aggregate form and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not use invasive tracking technologies, and we do not build user profiles.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Where our Apps offer premium features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases, all payment processing is handled entirely by the relevant platform provider:

• Google Play Billing (for Android apps)

• Apple App Store In-App Purchase (for iOS apps)

We do not collect, process, intercept, or store any payment details, including but not limited to:

• Credit or debit card numbers

• Bank account details

• Billing addresses

• Payment tokens or transaction identifiers linked to your financial accounts

Your payment relationship is directly with Google or Apple, and their respective privacy policies govern that data. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store settings on your device.

6. Biometric Authentication

Some of our Apps may offer an optional biometric lock feature (fingerprint or facial recognition) to secure your data within the app. Where offered:

• Authentication relies entirely on your device’s native biometric hardware and operating system APIs (Android BiometricPrompt, iOS LocalAuthentication).

• We do not collect, scan, store, or have any access to your biometric data.

• Your biometric data never leaves your device’s secure enclave.

• This feature is always optional and can be disabled in the app’s settings.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Apps and website may interact with or rely upon the following categories of third-party services:

7.1 App distribution platforms

• Google Play Store (Google LLC)

• Apple App Store (Apple Inc.)

These platforms collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

7.2 Advertising (if applicable)

Some of our free or freemium Apps may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). Where ads are displayed:

• The ad network may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage data to serve relevant advertisements.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device’s settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising).

• We will clearly state in the relevant app’s store listing and/or app-specific addendum whether that app displays ads.

Where an app does NOT display ads, no ad-related data collection occurs.

7.3 Crash reporting and diagnostics (if applicable)

Some of our Apps may use platform-provided crash reporting (such as Google Play Console’s Android Vitals or Apple’s crash reporting) to help us identify and fix bugs. Where used:

• Crash reports are collected and anonymised by the platform provider.

• Reports may include device model, OS version, app version, and a technical stack trace.

• These reports do not contain personal data or user-generated content.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

8.1 Website cookies

Our website may use cookies to:

• Ensure the website functions correctly (strictly necessary cookies)

• Remember your preferences (functional cookies)

• Understand how visitors use the site in aggregate (analytics cookies)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functionality.

8.2 App cookies

Our mobile Apps do not use cookies. Any local data storage is handled via the mechanisms described in Section 4.3.

9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal obligation: If required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

• Protection of rights: To enforce our terms, protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public, as permitted by law.

• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any personal data we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users in advance.

10. Data Retention

Since our Apps process data locally on your device, we do not retain any user data on our systems. Data stored locally on your device persists until you delete it via in-app controls, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

If you contact us via email or our website contact form, we retain your correspondence for up to 24 months to maintain a record of communication, after which it is securely deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.

11. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• Our Apps are designed with a “privacy by architecture” approach — by not collecting data in the first place, we eliminate the risk of data breaches on our end.

• Where data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device’s own security features (screen lock, encryption, biometric authentication).

• Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all connections.

• We regularly review and update our security practices.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data stored on your personal device.

12. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

As our Apps do not collect personal data, most data rights are inherently satisfied. However, for any personal data we do hold (for example, from contact form submissions), you have the following rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation:

Right of access

You may request a copy of   any personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification

You may ask us to correct   any inaccurate personal data.

Right to erasure

You may ask us to delete   your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).

Right to restrict processing

You may ask us to limit how   we use your data.

Right to data portability

You may request your data   in a structured, machine-readable format.

Right to object

You may object to our   processing of your data.

Right to withdraw consent

Where processing is based   on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at qubitlogicltd@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s supervisory authority for data protection:

• Website: ico.org.uk

• Helpline: 0303 123 1113

13. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps and website are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Since our Apps do not collect personal data from any user, this risk is inherently mitigated.

If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us through our website contact form, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

14. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United Kingdom and primarily serve UK users. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK ourselves. However, third-party services we rely upon (such as Google and Apple) may process data internationally in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data transfer mechanisms.

15. App-Specific Privacy Addenda

Where an individual app’s data practices differ from or supplement this general policy, we publish an app-specific privacy addendum. Current addenda:

Addendum A: Overtaxed — UK Tax Calculator

• Data collection: None. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or financial data.

• Local storage: Uses Android SharedPreferences to save input state locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time using the “Erase All Local Data” button in the app or by clearing storage in Android Settings.

• In-app purchases: Pro subscription managed via Google Play Billing. We do not access or store payment details.

• Biometric security: Optional biometric lock uses your device’s native Android Biometric hardware. We have no access to your biometric data.

• Advertising: None. Overtaxed does not display advertisements.

• Crash reporting: Standard Google Play Console diagnostics only (anonymised, no personal data).

Additional addenda will be added to this section as new apps are published.

16. Open-Source and Third-Party Libraries

Our Apps may use open-source libraries and third-party SDKs. These are used for functionality purposes only (such as UI components, billing integration, or analytics). We review all third-party dependencies for privacy compliance before inclusion. A list of key libraries and their licences can be found within each app’s settings or about screen.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our Apps, or applicable law. When we make changes:

• We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.

• For material changes, we will provide notice through our website and/or within the affected app(s).

• Continued use of our Apps or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
